3. develop a school model, curriculum and school materials for replication and distribution to other schools in the region
A. Education
1. intraGlobal School (iGS) and intraGlobal Leadership Academy (IGLA)
Classes Playgroup to SMA (1000 to 1500 students)
The mixed curriculum is based on:
- The DIKNAS Indonesian program
- The Cambridge International Exams program
- The United States Schools program
- Dayak indigenous teaching (language, culture, forest)
- CLCeducation educational and social principles
- Any successful learning strategies from other education systems (France, Japan, Sweden...)
The students upon successfully completing high school will receive
:- Diploma from UJIAN
- Certificate of Examinations from Cambridge International Exams
- United States High School Diploma
- Certificate of Culture Contact – Dayak
- Continued follow-up from university to job placement
The student body will include mostly local Indonesian students from Bengkayang (75%) and some Indonesian and foreign students who live outside Bengkayang or abroad.
2. intraGlobal Life-Long Learning (iG-LLL)
Educational activities for the general public to promote life-long learning
- Adult education (vocational, professional development, personal development, hobbies)
- Youth and children afterschool activities (remedial, explorative, hobbies)
B. Entrepreneurship
intraGlobal Entrepreneurship Program
- Development of entrepreneurship skills and mindset to enable the participants to be successful in starting up businesses or to be active forces within various industries.
C. Culture
intraGlobal Cultural Center
- Exhibitions, conferences, concerts, movie showings- Cultural, art and science events
D. Sports
intraGlobal Sports Facilities
- High quality recreational sports facilities open to general public
- Professional sports development program (performance, nutrition education, sports therapy)
E. Community
1. intraGlobal Community Learning Center (iG-CLC)
Help to develop community learning centers in other towns and villages.
2. intraGlobal Education Consulting, Training and Services (iG-ECTS)
School consulting, teacher training, education seminars, in-company training department development, curriculum sharing and distribution of IGS, IGLA and IG-LLL educational materials in the region.
Clients include individuals, for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations, local schools and other learning centers.
F. Facilities
On 10 hectares of land, concept of eco-tech/modular/post-modern architecture influenced by Dayak culture, within a natural, open and green environment
The facilities will be open to the general public and includes:
- school facilities
- teacher and student “villages” (housing) for both local, foreign and visiting teachers and students
- 1000 person conference hall/ convention room / movie theater / music venue
- art, culture, science exhibition hall/museum
- book and media library
- indoor/outdoor sports facilities (indoor arena for basketball, volleyball, badminton… recreational and Olympic-size swimming pool…)
- park and green walkways
